This is quite rubbish tbh, lol. It's for a project thingy at school tho- so i'v got to find out the answer
You are on an island and there are 3 crates of fruit that have been washed up in front of you. One crate contains only apples. One contains only oranges. The other contains both, apples and oranges.
Each crate is labelled. One reads "apples" , one reads "oranges" and one reads "apples and oranges" You know that NONE of the crates have been labelled correctly- they are all wrong.
If you can only take out and look at just ONE of the pieces of fruit, from just ONE of the crates, how can you label ALL of the crates correctly.
I think its impossible, haha xxxx
if apples = not apples (so oranges, or apples & oranges)
oranges = not oranges (apples, or apples & oranges)
apples & = not apples & (oranges,or apples)
Check the apples & oranges crate
apples & oranges = apples
apples = oranges
oranges = apples & oranges
apples & oranges = apples
apples = oranges
oranges = apples & oranges

take a fruit out of the "apples and oranges" crate. If it's an apple then you know that is the "apples" crate since ALL THE CRATES ARE LABLED INCORRECTLY. This means the crate marked "apples" must be "oranges" and the crate marked "oranges" must be "apples and oranges".
hope it's right
White Daffodil bulbs I have some beautiful, brilliantly coloured pots for bulbs this year.?
Can anyone suggest colour combinations of the pots with amaryllis, paperwhites, and daffodils?
Three red amaryllis, white paperwhites, and yellow daffodils
Thank you, those remarks are just what I was looking for. I don't have an orange pot, but the others I can provide!
The paperwhites will look wonderful in blue or yellow or orange or even red. My choice would be orange.
The daffodils will be beautiful in a purple, orange or red pot. My choice would be purple.
The amaryllis will look nice in a green, yellow, white metallic. My choice would be yellow.
I am looking for bulbs or plants called Samantha.?
Further to my previous question looking for a plant called Samantha in remembrance of my best friend's daughter killed last week in a white water rafting accident in Thailand, I'm not having much luck, so am wondering whether there are any bulbs called "Samantha". It doesn't matter what kind they are as in daffodils, tulips etc., as long as they are called Samantha. UK only thanks.
I am puzzled as to why anybody would think this is a bad question.
There is a Flower called Campanula Samantha
"A long flowering Campanula, large open cups of violet, fragrant flowers. If allowed to, this will creep over walls etc. A lovely new addition.
Flowering March right through to September. 20 x 40 cms."
