Trailing Vine Dream help. Wicked dream, need to know meaning.?
Ok, Last week I had this weird dream. I was sitting my a stream on a sandy beach looking at sun bleached Magic cards (MTG). Then my mom came along to come and get me and I saw a friend I had in a pervious dream. Well he had like a hiking pack on and he look down, so i said, "What's up? How you doing?". and he just walked past me. Then he turned around and said, "sorry I didn't mean to be rude like that, will you forgive me?",then I said, "yea I don't care". Then more guys dressed like him came from a trail and started picking some type of flower on a vine. Then I said, "Oh it's harvest time". well then I woke up. Those two words have been bugging me and I can't stop thinking about it "harvest time". What does it mean? Please help.
maby something you ate the night before kinda got to you..
who knows some of us all have weird dreams that may be pointless and probably doesnt matter..iam guessing it means absolutely nothing!
I'm at the level "On the Trail of the Treasure" in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.?
I'm at a dead end at some ledges with a vine next to them. I can never get from the vine to the next ledge. How am I supposed to do that? Yes, I've tried wallrunning.
This site at the link below has the game completed, you should check it out.
Lily Vine My 4th grade son has this question on his science homework. Can anyone in Tennessee help us.?
For each of the plants listed below, describe one adaptation it has and tell how the adaptation helps the plant.
1. Vine-
2. Cactus-
3. Water lily-
He is in the Obion County School System in Tennessee.
Vine wraps around stuff and helps them grow tall
Cactus stores a lot of water so they can live in dry places
water lily has adapted to little sunlight they can live in water
I'm 17 and my style is like nautical preppy, i really need to find some new cute clothing stores and i know all about ae and lily pulitzer ad vineyard vines...i need something new!
Beautiful Vine new jasmine vine is this rain for 2 days straight going to damage it?
i planted it about 1 week ago or there abouts... maybe 2 now.
I was told they don't need much water and not to over water plants period. Is this going to damage it? I feel like a farmer right now and like i am going to lose my crop.
Is there anything i can do if tomorrow there is another day like this and this rain IS indeed going to ruin my beautiful Jasmine vine?
even the whole month raining non stop jasmine is no problem but not in flood for a week or two they like water very much
Will having carpenter bees come to my flowers encourage them to establish nests in my house or wood fence?
I planted Maypop Passion flower and the vine is huge and attracts lots of carpenter bees. I am worried that now they will start making holes in my house and fence and getting established. Does anyone know if having these bees pollinate flowers make them want to live nearby? It makes me think that logically they would do this! Yikes. Maybe I need to pull up this beautiful vine.
Don't worry! Enjoy your beautiful vine!
I don't think the flowers encourage them to live nearby, for my flowers attracted so many kinds of bees to collect nectar and pollens, but there is not any established nest on my yard.
Climbing Bean Vine What happens when pole beans reach the top of the structure?
I planted pole beans (planted them about 6 inches apart) for the first time this year. So far they are doing well. They are climbing the wooden lattice I put in the garden. I'm concerned that my lattice is only 4 feet high (8 feet wide). I noticed that the bean vines are vining 'up' and not sideways at all on the lattice. It won't be long until the vines reach the top of the lattice. What happens then? Will the vines keep growing and just flop over the top or will they start to go horizontal? Do I need to do something once the vines reach the top?
They continue to reach skyward, and then flop down under their own weight. No, they don't go sideways much - just straight up. I have 12 foot strings trained up the side of my house - and even then, some species "bust through the ceiling" as it were.
If you can make them a taller structure - get half-runner beans next time. They usually stop around 5 -6 feet instead of 8 to 10 feet or more.
Vine Perennial Seeds Can someone please help me? I have a few questions about Cathedral Bells (Cup-and-saucer vine)?
First of all, I live in zone 5, Ontario Canada. I would like to grow Catherdral Bells up a few trellis and fences, but I have a few questions:
1: Are they a popular plant?
2: Are they a perennial in my area?
3: How fast to they grow? As fast as morning glories?
4: When do I plant, what are some tips on it?
5: Do you buy it as seeds, or as roots?
5: Do most nurserys have this vine? I haven't even heard of it until today!
Thanks in advance!
Here are my answers to you... firstly, I am also in USDA hardiness zone 5. Thanks for the reference... it makes answers so much easier.
1. Not very popular. They are not a heavy bloomer in my experience.
2. Not a perennial in zone 5.
3. Slower than morning glory, but still pretty quick.
4. I'd start them from seed, because it's going to be difficult to find as a plant. Start them indoors 2-3 weeks earlier than last frost. They are slow to germinate and I had erratic germination.
5. As seed.
6. I grew it for a couple years at the retail nursery I worked for (in Brighton MI), that is the only place I was aware of it available as a plant. Try a local farm market.
Will the morning glory plant die this fall or come back only from seeds next year. I'm spraying roundup on the vine under my peach trees. Wonder if I'm wasting my time because the plant is about to go dormant or die. ?
It is good you are spraying it, However roundup is best effective when spraying when the plant is producing allot of new growth.ie late spring through mid summer, (but for that pesky weed, any time you can spray it) lol. you will find it to be a hearty plant ,requiring a couple of years of constant spraying, and a couple of times each season. Good luck. PS. if you pull it, the roots break off and it will propagateate from the pieces left behind also.
