Perennial Sweet William could anyone tell me if sweet Williams are annual or perennial ?
Mine all come back every year so i hope you want them.. they are a very pretty plant and easy to take care of .. I am planting everything in my garden that is preinial.. so i don't have to keep doing it every year.. just the weeding.
good luck
I keep finding stems on my plants bent over broken down on numerous plants.....sweet william, monarda, dahlia, fern, etc. I have never experienced this before. It seems to be occuring overnight, and the stems are pushed down in differing directions, and not a result of wind damage.
I am at a loss. any clues or ideas what would cause this and what I can do to protect my plants?
thank you
Sounds like you have a varmet taking a stroll in your bed..... could be a couple that I can think of... ground hog, raccoon, rat.... not sure what part of the country you are in so it may be one locally to you.
I posted a question a little while ago, asking what you thought, and i just finished it so, i want to know what you think of it.
Please keep in mind that this is a 7th grade poem! and this poem is based on the styles of William Blake
The Summer Rose
Thy beautiful rose,
Gleaming in the sun,
Thy great summer's day
Has just begun.
Thou weep in thy sleep,
But don't worry my dear,
You my sweet flower,
Have nothing to fear.
For you are a beautiful
Red pedal rose,
Who has nothing to fear,
As on the world goes.
And you are as lovely
As the sun shinning bright,
As you always stand tall,
Every day and night.
and if you have any way to put in a simily other than the last stanza, because that sounds kind of odd, and i have to put in a simily...thanks
ohh ha, opps, im bad at spelling, thanks for the heads up!
Dew kissed and lovely,
With the sun's healing light.
Graceful and tall,
From morning till night.
Or something like it for the last verse.
I think it is a great poem for someone in the 7th grade or for anyone for that matter! Be proud. Thanks for sharing.

PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Here's the poem.... In the Rain by William Wetmore Story:
I stand in the cold gray weather,
In the white and silvery rain;
The great trees huddle together,
And sway with the windy strain.
I dream of the purple glory
Of the roseate mountain-height
And the sweet-to-remember story
Of a distant and clear delight.
The rain keeps constantly raining,
And the sky is cold and gray,
And the wind in the trees keeps complaining
That summer has passed away;—
But the gray and the cold are haunted
By a beauty akin to pain,—
By a sense of a something wanted,
That never will come again.
THE QUESTION IS......... What does the rain represent in the poem?
I HAVE NO IDEA PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
