Proof Resistant What are methods for creating heat resistant/ fire proof concrete?
I'm currently doing research into heat resistant concretes, although concrete already has a good tolerance to heat i need to know certain methods in which specific fire resistant concrete is produced, i googled a bit but couldnt really find proper explanations.
if it helps, i am searching into it for fire resistant bunkers/shelters for bush fires.
thanks in advance
Any well designed concrete structure will be fire resistant with regard to bush fires. Check out these sites:

Is stainless steel stain proof or just stain resistant?
I'm reading reviews on a hair dye I'd like to use and many say it stained their bathtubs/sinks. I thought I could rinse in our kitchen sink(stainless steel) but I'd like to be sure it won't hurt anything.
Stain resistant, but no worries with the hair dye.
If you want to be extra careful, wipe the sink first with a little vegetable oil on a paper towel or soft cloth.
I bought a Buddleia at the beginning of spring - now its over 5feet tall. Its stemm is thin...and almost looks like its too thin for being soo tall. Should I tie it up...or just let it fall the way it wants? Thanks
Buddleia "Davidii" is a perennial in zones 5-10, some other cultivars might not be as hardy.
You should trim it enough so it grows bushy naturally. If it's too floopy, it won't hurt to give it some support in the meantime to train it & improve how it looks.
Flower Garden Plans can someone help me with this question? I think I know what to do but might be on the wrong path.?
john has 24m of fencing to make a rectangular flower garden. He plans to use his house as one side of the garden.
What dimensions will give the maximum "area"?
the area is a*b
the length is a + 2b = 24 ( since one side is the house ).
so you have to maximize the function Area(a,b) = a*b
substitute the connstraint a = 24 - 2b and you will get
Area(b) = (24-2b)*b
the function is a parabole with its max in the top, graph the function and you know the answer.
the zeros are b=0, b = 12, thus the top is on b = 6 and then a = 24-2*6 = 12
ant the area 6*12 = 72
