Christians, I wonder if you would choose something here from the description below?

I'd like you to choose what you would be in God's garden
but please read the description so you can figure this out.

You come into God's garden. On your right is a lovely herb garden
full of all kinds of aromatic, healing herbs. There's an old, worn bench
there to sit down and savor the scent from the garden.
Straight ahead is a beautiful flower garden with border plants,
climbing plants, lilacs, roses, some wild flowers and a gazebo
in the centre with a path leading through the flower garden.

Off to your left are fruit trees of all different fruits growing
at different times.

In this picture, God is the gardener. What are you in His garden?

The more we discern about ourselves in these ways, the
more we see about ourselves.

We are probably the herb garden because we are here to comfort and encourage and, hopefully, be instruments of emotional and spiritual recovery.

How do you grow a cheap yet beautiful flower garden?

i would love to grow a garden at this time of year but i dont want to spend alot of money on it.I dont know whether its better to buy seeds or actual flowers to plant.i think it would be nice to put a white fence around it for a sense of privacy.Tell me what you think.I would also like a good estimate for the price too.Could anyone help me?

some green house plants are inexpensive, take a look you'll find plenty

nothing beats the low cost of seeds.

hard to give you an estimate with out knowing how big your area is.

a small 4x6 ft bed would need about $20 of plant flats or $5 of seeds (this same area of garden bed could easily cost $200 depending on what plants and other add-ons you choose)

What are the best plants to have in your garden during the winter months? ?

Daffs, Tulip, Crocus any more suggestions for planting from September to December

I don't go out in my garden much in winter so near my front door I have planted a winter honeysuckle (absolutely mind blowing scent), sweet box (winter flowering) and something called wintersweet.
These aren't bulbs, I know, and aren't very colourful, but it gives me so much pleasure in the winter months. You could also try winter flowering viburman.
All these plants are very good for early insects who need flowers to food, too.

Mulch? Is it best to lay it around the beds of flowers and plants in my garden?

Hello, everyone seems to say laying mulch around the beds of flowers and plants is the best way to keep the moisture in the soil? is this true, what are other benifits for doing so?

mulch is a living organism and will slowly "disolve" for lack of a better word into the ground. the vitimins and minerals in the mulch will help fertilize the flowers and plants under the mulch and enrich them.

mulch is good for keeping your roots cool from the hot sun, keep the soild moist after the rest of the soil has dried and in cooler temperatures it acts as a thermol blanket for the roots and bulbs that have just been planted.

plus it can be very attractive depending on how it is done.

Gardening Flowers & Vegetables : How to Plant a Vegetable Garden

I live in Oakville Ontario and I was wondering when do you start gardening? Planting flowers and all that jazz?

You can put plants in the ground after the last danger of frost. If you don't know when that is,check with a local nursery. I suspect it's after US Memorial Day.

I have flowers on my plants in my garden, but the flowers just falls off, without a vegetable?

My garden was planted 55 days ago

Depending on what you have growing, I would guess there are no insects around, or too much rain.
Both instances will cause 'petal drop' because they haven't been fertilized. Melons, pumpkins, Etc. are notorious for this, due to not producing any MALE flowers. If this is the case, then maybe in a month you will see some results.

Don't use insecticide during this flowering season. you'll kill all the insects needed for fertilization
Only after fruit has set

Pansies and Fall Bedding Plants

I just received 1 dozen Irisises in a shipment. Do I plant them now or in Fall?

I just got a shipment of Iris roots. About half a dozen. I am not sure where to put it in my garden yet? I need to make another raised flower bed. Iris do they grow better in full sun or partial shade? Should I wait until fall ? It's still getting hot and dry here in Northern Utah? Help! I also have about 100 Tulip plants that needs planting? Now or late fall? Which way is better?

Please Goggle Schreiner's Irises for the help you need. This next info came from their web site and they have all the answers you will need. Good luck. They also have some fabulous Irises too.
Planting Iris

The best planting time for Iris is in July, August, and September. If you're in an area with hot summers and mild winters, September or October planting may be better. Pick a site for your Iris where the plants will get at least a half day of full sun. Iris need good drainage; the rhizomes will rot if the soil stays too wet.
Prepare a raised bed or mound with loose soil. If your soil is heavy clay, add sand or organic matter to loosen the soil. Iris prefer a soil that's slightly acidic (pH 6.8). Plant the Iris so that the top part of the rhizome is above the soil line. Press the soil around the rhizome firmly and water in. Once your Iris plants are established, they'll only need to be watered in very dry conditions.
