Wheel Luck how do you get the wheel hub off to replace broken stud?
dodge grand caravan. cant get the wheel hub off. i tried soaking it in wd40. no luck.
You don't have to pull the hub off.Just whack it with a ball peen hammer it will come out.Slip it out the backside.you may have to rotate the hub to do it..Slip the new one in,put 2or 3 big washers over it and take a lug nut and gun it on with a impact wrench.that will suck it into the hole.It may destroy the lug nut that you use to install it so buy 2 lug nuts when you get the stud.use a old one to install it.I just re read your question.if you're talkin about the rear brake drum then go through the 1' long hole in the bottom take a screwdriver and spin the adjuster to back off the brake shoes.then just whack the drom near the outside edge and it will bounce right off.The whole job would take me 10 minutes.including takin the wheel off.

Bird Paradise I have a Bird of Paradise plant, which has taken 7 years to flower? I've heard that this is normal?
Is this correct? Also, I'd like to know if it is ok to prune the 2 dead flowers, and just how low would I cut them ?
Seven years is longer than the average. When started from seed, they begin to bloom when they are about 4-5 years old--according to this article: http://www.bachmans.com/retail/tipsheets/indoor_plants/birdofparadise.cfm
Other sources say 3-5 years. This one had some additional info that may be helpful to you:
Is the browning edges of a bird of paradise normal?
I recently got a bird of paradise, I give it at least four hours of indirect sunlight a day, sometimes direct. I've yet to get a spray bottle to help with the humidity. I've put water on the leaves once to deal with that issue. It is near a heat vent, could this play a part? The leaves are a bit torn from recently being in a small green house and catching on some hooks while we were moving it. The actual edges are crispy, but the leaves are still green. Is this normal?
Good Morning Kirsie J ,
I just got back from walking at Venice beach. Then I had to take the wife to get a leg of lamb for Easter dinner. Please do not mess up on my (smile) favorite flowering plant. I hope I can be the cavalry.
NO! Brown and yellow leaves are not normal. Make sure your Bird of Paradise receives adequate moisture during the first six months. Both totally dry and soggy soil conditions will make the leaves yellow and eventually die. I think your heat vent is causing this problem. Your plant needs stable moisture conditions for at lease six months.
After the first six months (the establishment period), frequent watering and spray on leaves provides the ideal amount of moisture. During the winter months, made sure your soil is dry before watering.
Mulch will help your plant retain moisture and stabilize root temperatures. Do not put mulch against the plant base/stems. Leave an inch circular area around the stems free of mulch. Constant contact between mulch and the stems of the plant can cause stem rot. I use dried leaves and grass cuttings for my mulch.
Also, it is okay for the roots in your container to become a little crowded. It will not hurt your Bird of Paradise plant. That is completely normal for this type of plant.
Try to provide more direct sunlight. By the book, is not always right.
Please be a better nurse, and don't you hurt my favorite plant. Your rewards will be worth your effort. You can look forward to years of beautiful flowers. Does your plant have (smile again) a name?
Good luck Kirsie J. You and your family have a great Easter Sunday. Peace, from Los Angeles.
Different Kinds who can tell me the different kinds of ipods? and what are the differences between them?
I want to buy an ipod, but I'm not sure of what kind to get. So can people help me out by giving me a list of the different kinds? And the differences between them? Also, what's the price range? Is there a difference in prices from online to real stores? Can you lead me to a site that talks about ipods? Thanks for your help!
Well, you have the iPod shuffle, which has a 512 MB (100 songs, $69), and a 1 GB (250 songs, $99), but has no screen. That's probably not the one you want to get.
The iPod mini comes in 4GB (1000 songs, about $200), and 6GB (1500 songs, about $250). It has a black and white display (with a back light), and can hold podcasts and regular songs. It has about 16-18 hours of battery life. The iPod mini is not sold in most stores, so you would probably have to buy it off eBay or somewhere like that. It comes in green, blue, pink, silver, or gold.
The iPod nano is like a smaller version of the mini. It is only 0.27 inches thick, and has a 1.5 inch color display. It has up to 14 hours of battery life. It displays photos and plays podcasts and regular music. There is a 1GB (250 songs, $149), 2GB (500 songs, $200), and a 4GB (1000 songs, 25000 photos, $250). It comes in white or black and has a shiny metal backing.
The new iPod has the ability to let you view movies, TV shows, music videos, and video podcasts on it's 2.5 inch color display, but comes with a pretty hefty price tag. It has up to 20 hours of battery life. You can get it in 30GB (7, 500 songs, $300), or a 60GB (15, 000 songs, 25000 photos, 150 hours of video, $400). If you don't want to spend too much, and don't really want the video capability, don't buy this one.
My recommendation is the 4GB iPod nano, unless you are willing to spend the big bucks for an iPod with video. If you want tto find out more, go to http://www.apple.com/ipod/.

Registered Nurses:
RNs can specialize in one or more areas of patient care. There generally are four ways to specialize. RNs can choose a particular work setting or type of treatment, such as perioperative nurses, who work in operating rooms and assist surgeons. RNs also may choose to specialize in specific health conditions, as do diabetes management nurses, who assist patients to manage diabetes. Other RNs specialize in working with one or more organs or body system types, such as dermatology nurses, who work with patients who have skin disorders. RNs also can choose to work with a well-defined population, such as geriatric nurses, who work with the elderly. Some RNs may combine specialties. For example, pediatric oncology nurses deal with children and adolescents who have cancer.
There are many options for RNs who specialize in a work setting or type of treatment. Ambulatory care nurses provide preventive care and treat patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries in physicians’ offices or in clinics. Some ambulatory care nurses are involved in telehealth, providing care and advice through electronic communications media such as videoconferencing, the Internet, or by telephone. Critical care nurses provide care to patients with serious, complex, and acute illnesses or injuries that require very close monitoring and extensive medication protocols and therapies. Critical care nurses often work in critical or intensive care hospital units. Emergency, or trauma, nurses work in hospital or stand-alone emergency departments, providing initial assessments and care for patients with life-threatening conditions. Some emergency nurses may become qualified to serve as transport nurses, who provide medical care to patients who are transported by helicopter or airplane to the nearest medical facility. Holistic nurses provide care such as acupuncture, massage and aroma therapy, and biofeedback, which are meant to treat patients’ mental and spiritual health in addition to their physical health. Home health care nurses provide at-home nursing care for patients, often as follow-up care after discharge from a hospital or from a rehabilitation, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility. Hospice and palliative care nurses provide care, most often in home or hospice settings, focused on maintaining quality of life for terminally ill patients. Infusion nurses administer medications, fluids, and blood to patients through injections into patients’ veins. Long- term care nurses provide health care services on a recurring basis to patients with chronic physical or mental disorders, often in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Medical-surgical nurses provide health promotion and basic medical care to patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses. Occupational health nurses seek to prevent job-related injuries and illnesses, provide monitoring and emergency care services, and help employers implement health and safety standards. Perianesthesia nurses provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing anesthesia during surgery or other procedure. Perioperative nurses assist surgeons by selecting and handling instruments, controlling bleeding, and suturing incisions. Some of these nurses also can specialize in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Psychiatric-mental health nurses treat patients with personality and mood disorders. Radiology nurses provide care to patients undergoing diagnostic radiation procedures such as ultrasounds, magnetic resonance imaging, and radiation therapy for oncology diagnoses. Rehabilitation nurses care for patients with temporary and permanent disabilities. Transplant nurses care for both transplant recipients and living donors and monitor signs of organ rejection.
RNs specializing in a particular disease, ailment, or health care condition are employed in virtually all work settings, including physicians’ offices, outpatient treatment facilities, home health care agencies, and hospitals. Addictions nurses care for patients seeking help with alcohol, drug, tobacco, and other addictions. Intellectual and developmental disabilities nurses provide care for patients with physical, mental, or behavioral disabilities; care may include help with feeding, controlling bodily functions, sitting or standing independently, and speaking or other communication. Diabetes management nurses help diabetics to manage their disease by teaching them proper nutrition and showing them how to test blood sugar levels and administer insulin injections. Genetics nurses provide early detection screenings, counseling, and treatment of patients with genetic disorders, including cystic fibrosis and Huntington’s disease. HIV/AIDS nurses care for patients diagnosed with HIV and AIDS. Oncology nurses care for patients with various types of cancer and may assist in the administration of radiation and

How many in here get something from the Easter bunny?
We didn't celebrate the Easter Bunny back home, just the day Jesus rose, so the Saturday evening celebration was big with my family. Now that I have kids, they expect Easter bunny gifts. I just put some chocolates and little knick knacks in a small basket, but their friends' parents treat their kids as if it was Santa Claus again!
I am concerned about that too.I want my kids to understand it is about Jesus and not bunnies. I will give them Easter baskets and an egg hunt but that is about it.
White Prince Question about the Prince O3 White Racquet?
How do you remove the soft rubber grommets and install the hard plastic one?
If you've got both sets of grommets, just give the second set to your stringer next time you have your frame strung, and tell them you want those installed. You could probably do it yourself, but you have to take out the strings first.
Cinderella makes a play for Snow White's Prince Charming
Does the UAW view Obama as being the prince on a White Horse you heard about in fairy tales?
We all know the Disney story where the handsome prince comes and rescues Snow White with a kiss. Does the UAW see him this way? Does the UAW think Obama is going to rescue the automakers from impending doom of bankruptcy?
It sure seems that way. Personally I think that the UAW is a big reason why the auto industry is having the problems we're having today, because they are the ones who causing the price of a car to be driven up. I'm all for taking care of employee's. But do people realize that alot of the price of a car is the pensions of retired auto workers? People who are not even working anymore. When we buy these new cars, we are paying their pensions. When you compare them to Honda or Toyota, the prices for those cars are cheaper, because they have no union.
